About the Coach

My name is Al Larsen, and I am the coach behind Lyric Life Coaching. Thanks for visiting the site.

This big, blue marble we all live on is kind of a bizarre place. All that "bizarre" gets kind of noisy, and that noise can be a little loud at times. My role is to help you turn the volume down just a little bit.

I am a native of Iowa, a proud graduate of Iowa State University and a resident of Indianapolis. I came to coaching after putting a bow on a successful 34-year career as a marketing and communications leader.

The energy I get from coaching may be greater than anything I've ever felt in my career.

My approach is inquisitive and focused, recognizing that a coach and client working in partnership are difficult to beat. I've been described by some of my clients as "caring," "calming" and "easy to talk to," but you can decide for yourself if we meet.

I'm married and, along with my wife, Lynn, spend my free time catering to the every whim of a retired racing greyhound named Axel.
